Wobbler One is a large room that can cater for 15 children aged 12months to 2 years of age. There is 3 qualified staff members in Wobbler One. There are three sleep rooms attached to this classroom to allow for children to follow their sleep routine. Wobbler one offers a space where children have to opportunity to crawl, wobble and walk.

Our wobbler room aids the child’s natural development of their sensory, gross and fine motor skills. Nurturing their self-esteem is of great importance to us. Confidence building, socialising and understanding their ability to interact with the world around them is an exciting time for your child. We recognise that children at this age need time to explore and experiment but understand that they still need the cuddles, affection and loving attention they experienced as a baby

In the wobbler room we use visual, physical and audio educational resources to stimulate the children All our rooms are designed with your child’s developmental needs in mind so you can be relaxed in knowing that they are learning and growing in a playful, fun and stimulating environment.

We maintain the highest hygiene standards in our classrooms and have daily and weekly cleaning schedules

We use an app called Childpaths to help communicate with parents. This app allows the staff in the room upload pictures and daily information like feeding and nappy changes to the child’s profile, that parents can log in and see during the day. For more information on the app, please click on the following link: https://childpaths.ie/faqs-for-parents/

To keep all the classrooms and children in our care safe, we operate a sickness and illness policy that states ‘If a child has suffered from vomiting, diarrhoea, fever or any other illness, she/he must not attend the crèche until the symptoms have ceased for 48 hours and normal eating habits have resumed’

Wobbler Two caters for 10 children aged 15 months to 2 years with 2 fully qualified staff members. Meal and nap times in our Wobbler Two Room are set out to help your child get into a regular routine. As all the children are now on the same routine, we have one large sleep room attached to this room, where all the children go to sleep around the same time. At this age, they are finding their feet and will be encouraged and supported in becoming steady and coordinated through free play and exploration.

Each week/month is structured around a learning theme that is incorporated into our morning and evening activities, such as story time and sing-songs, messy play, and arts and crafts. A large variety of toys encourage your child to use their imagination while learning through play. Outdoor play is also essential, and our outdoor space is designed to provide your child with a stimulating environment to help them grow.
